In the summer/fall of 2015 A.F. Amorello was awarded the Chestnut Street project which involves the following major items of reconstruction on Chestnut Street from Warren Lane to the north end of Chestnut Street. The project included approximately 1,100 feet in total length of roadway, including water and drain improvements, concrete sidewalk construction, granite curb, roadway pavement reclamation, grading and paving. This project was challenging due the fact that it was awarded late in the season but had to be 80% complete before the winter in order to draw funding from an account that expired at the end of the calendar year. A.F. Amorello met this deadline and will put the top course of asphalt on in the Spring of 2016.
